Kep1er emerged from the intense competition of the 2021 survival show *Girls Planet 999*, a multinational project that forged a nine-member group from a pool of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese trainees. Their debut with the vibrant, space-themed EP *FIRST IMPACT* and its title track "WA DA DA" instantly captured attention, establishing their signature sound: a dynamic blend of bright, addictive electronica and powerful pop hooks. Subsequent eras, like the confident *Doublast* with "Up!" and the elegant *Troubleshooter* featuring "We Fresh," showcased their musical versatility, exploring concepts from playful cheerleading to sleek, futuristic heroism. Formed through a unique public vote, Kep1er embodies a truly global genesis, with known members like the experienced Yujin, center Xiaoting, main vocal Chaehyun, and the charismatic Dayeon, Hikaru, and Huening Bahiyyih.
