From Our Living Room in Cornwall
Izzy falls in love with K-pop, starting with BlackPink – that perfect blend of hip-hop swagger, bubblegum hooks, and commanding choreography. Jennie's rap flow, Jisoo's vocals, the way "Shut Down" samples Paganini – it is hypnotic. Playlists become obsessions. Bedroom walls become shrines.
Wembley Stadium
Bonding over lightsick synchrony, Izzy and her dad join 90,000 Blinks at London's Wembley Stadium for BlackPink's DEADLINE World Tour – 16th August 2025. The first K-pop girl group ever to headline the venue. Feeling the bass thunder through that famous pitch. Realising music transcends language barriers completely.
In The Car
Driving home along the A30, Izzy flicks through digital radio stations searching for K-pop. Dance. Chart. Talk. Nothing. Frustration gives way to resolve: if the airwaves are silent, she will fill them herself.
K-Beats Is Born
From a home studio in Truro, Cornwall, K-Beats launches: 24/7 broadcasting dedicated entirely to K-pop, from chart-toppers to deep B-sides. No algorithm. All human curation. Connecting fans across borders who demand the same music Izzy could not find.
K-Beats Global
A full platform relaunch introduces the K-Beats brand. Live charts powered by real-time data, interactive polls, immersive fan experiences, and a refined editorial design language. Three million listeners and growing.
